HALO CUSTOM EDITION CHRISTMAS  TOURNAMENT OF

2011!

Hello Halo CE Community! This year, we from H2SHC (Halo 2 Server Hosting Company) And RZS (Red Zulu Studios) Have a major halo tournament planned this year! We are working on a system on how this will be carried out, and yes there will be prizes! Below is a list of details:

Date: It will begin on Friday, December 30rd (Might change if people's schedule cant support this time)

Time: N/A

How long is it? 2-3 Days. Unsure yet.  

Who is hosting: H2SHC & RZS

-CMT_G3_Augur
-CMT_Snow_Grove
More that we will choose from you guys, but they have to be winter / snowey maps!

Prizes:
-A free 6 Slot server for 2 years.
-Exclusive updates on projects such as maps from RZS.

TLMP pipeline is a medium sized winter map.

I offer my pre-released map "Whiteout" for the map rotation.

Please note that as it was pre-released, not all the bugs have been worked out (such as the duplicate client-side vehicles), but all the placements are fine.

i had issues with this map when we had it on a server only the red team spawned: http://www.xfire.com/video/39cf75/

we had about 14 players tho, maybe it was too many for that map.

valhalla sure would b a great map for the tournament! *hint hint*

Snowtorn Cove, a winter variant of Wartorn Cove, is one of the best (if not the best) large CTF maps. You would need a decent amount of players to enjoy it. 4 vs 4 would do.

Sneak is a fun one too. It's like a small version of Sidewinder without the horseshoe shape.

Unfortunately the date is real bad for me. Would love to play if you pushed back the timing some.

Should I do it the day before christmas eve, or the day before the day before christmas eve? (22nd or 23rd?)

Imo, it shouldn't be in the week around Christmas day at all because people will be too busy buying presents for me to play Halo ;) *hint hint*

Argh... sorry for the trouble but I'm probably not having any gaming time around christmass so count me out. I hope you get some people to play in this though. It's a shame good custom maps aren't being played much anymore.
