Quote: --- Original message by: Jaz I think the game could have been much better if they'd decided to use 2 discs as they could have fitted higher resolution textures and more mp maps. Microsoft's strict policy against multiple discs is stupid. Whoever came up with the idea that the ease of putting a disc in a drive outweighs the advantage of having more disc space should be fired on the spot. When has microsoft ever said that they won't use multiple discs? Also, think about this, it doubles the production cost if they have to produce twice as many discs :P

I was, for the first time in my Halo experience, completely scared of the Flood. I'm not even joking. ._.
Anyways, if we get a tool that allows us to rip CEA, we could have these bipeds, weapons, and vehicles in-game in no time right? I mean, 98% of everything in CEA has the exact same rigs as CE. Yeah man, the flood looks much darker and grimier and just frickin scary, I really like them like this.

Quote: --- Original message by: IcePhoenix So even the new company makes Halo exclusive to Xbox... It's still Microsoft in control, don't expect to see any of the major Xbox games come to PC. So far I'm having a great time with Anniversary, it's nice to play Halo again without any frame rate issues. The Halo campaign I also thought was the best so no complaints there. Think my only issue so far is the remake of Hang Em High, never a big fan of this map since it's is always long range battles which bore the hell out of me.

Not worth my money at all. I feel I wasted my money getting it. I don't even want to touch the mp, reach is that bad. I was admiring the irony when I went to gamestop I of all people was paying for a halo 1 mod, while at the same time buying a wired xbox controller to play halo 1 mods for the PC like I do on a console. Best way to put it. QFT

There was a reason why I never picked the marine flood because I knew it was different.

If for whatever reason, you feel the need to start another argument with me then do it in PM's. Edited by Bobblehob on Nov 18, 2011 at 05:31 PM

Edited by Bobblehob on Nov 18, 2011 at 05:31 PM I never intended to argue with you just sharing an opinion. To me the only thing I see different is the textures got slightly upgraded, I really did look at the elite and tried to see how the model was different and I didn't find anything different aside a texture upgrade and the lack of blue or red armor (which urks me how lazy they were to make a CC because any lazy ripper in this community would have done a CC easily) Edited by Spartan_094 on Nov 18, 2011 at 07:20 PM

They would have to program that into the saber engine, it's not as simple as it is to do in CE. Also I looked in my Pokedex, it is indeed reach armor on the flood, looks to me like they just edited the h3 flood, rather than making all new ones though.

Starting new argument;
343 really should have brought the game to PC and set out the files so that anyone could mod it. Halo Anniversary's a remake, not the kind of game that needs to be protected so that nobody can hack it. If they allowed modding on PC, I bet there'd be hundreds of graphical updates and full gameplay overhauls.

Damn I would just love an open source modern HEK engine that allows commercial games to be made with it.
