While not exactly pertinent to map design and other technical issues, this forum is the best place I know of to go to for inquiries concerning CE. I've noticed that, at least in Halo PC, there are bitmaps for the X, A, B, Y, etc buttons, just as they appeared in the Xbox version. I always thought they'd be used when someone connected an Xbox controller, but I see that is not the case. Is there a way to change this for PC/CE?

Yeah, my 360 controller works for CE, but the button icons don't show. It's a hard-coding screw up, however, that prevents the actual names of button to show up.
I'm pretty sure there's a way to re reference the letter "E" in the message text to a bitmap with tag editing. I wouldn't mind it if I saw the buttons on the screen instead of keyboard letters, because I could just use joytokey. But of course, keyboard users don't want to have to see ABXY instead of the actual keyboard keys.

I'd love to see the Halo bitmaps instead of a lengthy 'Button X' in my action scripts...I know nothing about the required knowledge necessary for this to happen, so is anyone willing to work on this/know someone willing to work on this?

Also, one thing I noticed with this controller that didn't happen with my old wired Logitech is secondary (left) trigger overriding. If I hold the left trigger, it negates the right, even if I depressed the right one first. This is exceedingly annoying, because now I can't pwn in the Banshee anymore because I have to consciously remember to let go of the primary, press the secondary, and get back on the primary just to fire a fuel rod.
