Just a week ago I was able to play multiplayer, and now when I try it doesn't work.
I went into system settings and the ports were correct.
I went into my firewall settings and gave HaloCE full control.
Yet it will not let me join any servers...

Any idea to why?
Oh and yes, I did uninstall gamespy arcade.

E: And yes, I have a legitimate CD key.

How 'bout the port forwarding settings on your router? Even if the ports are opened on your system, you may encounter problems if your router isn't cooperating.
Also, could you tell us more about the specific error message you get when trying to join servers? It could help.

I try to join, I connect to the server, but when the map loads, it disconnects and says: game has closed down.

Hmm.. I'm having a problem where no games show up. But i think it is your ports to unlock.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829473
QUOTE: "80 (Transmission Control Protocol [TCP]) - Halo looks to see if there is a Halo update available. If there is an update, Halo downloads the update through this port.
2302 (User Datagram Protocol [UDP]) - the game host listens on this port.
2303 (UDP) - the game client connects to the game host through this port."
Forward those on your router.

Well after I came back from school I started the computer and the internet router, and for some miraculous reason, halo started working again...

Maybe it was my router. I do need to give it kick-starts sometimes.

E: oh shoot, now it won't let me join custom maps...
