Well I decided to try out Megavideo. Here's a cool Halo 2 clip I took in Delta Halo today.

i have never tried megavid but it looks okay, did it ruin the quality of your recording.
it seems very pixelated but hey on my pc my recordings are never perfect either.
if you use xfire it has a xfencoder app that converts your videos to mp4 and keeps the same quality, i use that to make the files smaller and to keep the quality decent for my you tube account. cool vid tho, plasma grenades ftw.

Yeah it did mess up the quality a bit. There was no pixelating before. But it isn't too bad.

Xfire doesn't let you record Halo 2 ingame though....

It does for me. And I'm using the XP version (LEGIT KEY).

Record at 720p and upload to youtube. Don't use any type of video format other than mp4. You can download a free compressor or use Sony Vegas (Best Option).

Xfire works fine with H2V, its just that the place that it hooks in, that when live runs its anti-hack checks, it will crash the game in fear of you doing things.

go to your xfire games config, and change your H2 part to this

idk weather you'd call this off topic or not, since the thread is based around video host testing.. he directly specified megavideo..*shrug*

So... when you do this Halo 2 will crash? How often?

I'd say between 4 and 10 minutes (I don't think live checks are on any certain time) I just did a check, took 9 minutes and 15 seconds from opening halo2.exe before it crashed.

I don't get it.... :/
