What's the wrong version of 3ds max?
And if you want to buy it get it, though if your buying someone else license make sure your getting a decent amount of time before purchasing. It would suck to find out you bought a license for 1 month. |

I have 3ds max 2010 design suite I got for $3999, and a student version of 2012 for $300 [other than upgrades in later releases] there is NO visible difference in any output product of either version.
There is no "watermark" |

If I recall, the installer contains both versions. I assume they have their reasons and it has come in handy for me a few times.

Even though I don't want the newest version of max, I signed up for the account anyway... Why did it automatically know what school I go to without asking me?.. and why does it let me stalk other people from my college by showing me what the downloaded when?.. I kinda feel like my privacy has been invaded lol.
