Lets say I inset a rectangle. The polys left around the edges have triangular ends. Is there an easy way to make the ends remain rectangular, or do i have to cut, or what? could someone please explain this to me?

neither of those was what i was asking for...? i was asking to use inset to make it rectangular instead of triangular so that i could use extrude.
