Hey there guys- I've been on vacation for the last week or two, and while on the road I've been doing some modeling and animating :D Before I get to that; I have an idea and some questions. The MJOLNIR armor I think the biggest flaw with Mjolnir armor is that its not flame retardant. I understand, its for gameplay. But still. It's got everything but fire protection, not even to some degree really. GODDAMNED CORRUPTION3ds Max 2012 (or any other version of max tbh) corrupted files. I get them all the time and I can't take it. Anyway to recover? All the autobaks for those files are screwed also. Any program or plugin or whatnot or hex editor or w/e to help me recover? even to some extent? EyeCandy. Just some new animations1. I dumped that old render background I made. Its ugly and takes forever to render. Anyone wanna make me a new one? lulz. 2. I know what you'll ALL say. Too much force on the pistol. But tbh, i like it. Don't worry. I might change it. 3.Both anims are unpolished, and the shotgun needs *ALOT* of work. I'll hope that M16 can help me somewhat. :D anyway. Pistol's idea is good, excecution is at best......very ameteur. try to add less static frames and add more bounce, if you're going to make something "Stick" in one place for more than 5 frames, you should add some inbetween rotations to make it looks more intresting. The Origin seems a bit odd, your left thumb wouldnt ever go around the hand like that unless you're handling a revolver with extreme kickback. Make the left thumb streamline with the rest of the hand. Check Out Flameomega's Springfeild origins to see what i mean
As for the shotgun. It's very simplistic but the actual fire bit isnt actually very visible. Considering the Shotgun was based off of the reach model as you told me, you should review the animation from reach to get a basic idea of how the shotgun fires. Back, Up, Pull Pump, Push Pump, Return to origin with bounce

for your corrupted files cant you autoback then export copy/past :B i made a thread about a scripted autoback

i just saved as after i recovered it just in case
