Okay so I've extracted everything right, re-extracted over 20 times, and I'm still getting the same error when opening the default bloodgulch.scenario with sapien.

i've never had the problem on xp,
so here is a post by a guy called kenny001

start up sapien but dont load a .scenario.
CTRL-ALT-DEL and find sapien.exe..right click/set affinity
uncheck one of the two CPU's
OK
close
restart sapien
