Hi I'm having a problem with gmax. I'm using a JmS exporter(Bluestreak), and I get this,
--RuntimeError: Out of scripter memory - use options to increase. W T F

use chimp its better than bluestreak for jms exporting and there is a way to change it google --RuntimeError: Out of scripter memory - use options to increase. and you will find a answer i now i have had to do it myself, ill have a look but if i dont get back to you, have a look im sure you will find it
:got it ok in the bottom left of your screen whist using max or gmax you will have a little text box type in
heapsize += 10000000 the size you can change but dont put it higher than needed as it will probly crash Edited by mapzy18 on Aug 5, 2011 at 10:48 PM

Didn't export the JMS file, it looked like it was but did nothing. I have the same problem with chimp, except I get --RuntimeError: Feature not available: "creatFile" Again... ok i dont now if your new and are still figuring it out or just getting errors i dont want to explain it all and sound like i am being condescending. so i will do a quick recap of creating the map...
1st create your map (making sure you follow the sealed world rule) 2nd texture (making sure every surface has a correctly named tif) 3rd link you map to a frame (create a box called frame and link the map to it) 4th goto scripts, open chimp click on it in the side window 5th MAKE SURE U CLICK LISTENER WINDOW NOT JMS 6th once done goto grablistener (with the model still open in max or gmax) 7th save file as "map_name.jms" (.JMS) <------ 8th open the jms file in notepad and delet the right text part (cant remeber what it looks like) DO SOME RESEARCH goto tool tool structure levels\mapname mapname
Sorry if you know this but i wanted to make sure you were doing them steps properly any more problems just ask
