So i'm editing the b30 map and would like to know how i'm supposed to make it so when you enter a certain spot it switches bsp's. As it is the bsp switch is supposed to take place where you enter the shaft where there is a short cut scene. i cannot figure out how to make it switch. can someone give me a tutorial or something. I would also like to throw in some custom bsp's, to make it a little more fun, and get some experience with bsp modeling. Anyway just want to know that and i'll be good

You put a trigger volume there in Sapien. Then open the scenario tag in Guerilla and you'll eventually come across a "BSP switch volume" block or some such. Just add the one you added and specify the BSPs to switch to/from.

Is that a more reliable method? And for my second bsp do i just put the number 2?

you can switch bsps with scripts "switch_bsp #" Or when doing trigger volumes in sapien, make it be something like "bsp 4,1" and it will automatically switch you from bps 4 to bps 1 when you enter it.

Wait. What? So all i do is make a trigger volume and name it 4,1 or 0,1 and it will automatically switch the bsp for me?

Kornman tought me a way that you can do it without scripts in Guerilla. You still need the trigger volumes, but there's a section in the scenario to set it up.

If your referring to the new bsp trigger volume section of the scenario we've already talked about that, for some reason, when i put it to switch bsp's it wouldn't save it, i would set it up hit save and exit it and when i reopened it the new thing would be gone, besides, i already have it switching, the new problem is that i can't enter the next room, because it exeptions every time i try, any suggestions on this?
