Sorry to keep spamming the forums like this, just one last thing on my mind - what are the actual firing rates in Halo? I notice they don't tend to correspond to the numbers you put in - specifically, between 10 and 15 rounds per second, there is no change. 9 is different to 10 (I think) and 15 from 14 but in between those, no change. There is then a gap, again, going up to 25 rounds per second.

Why is this?
