So let's say I were to animate a dropship coming into a multiplayer map. Is this possible in MP, or is it only possible in SP? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't sync, but would it?

It would work. The problem is it wont sync across a network connection due to Halo's netcode not being able to transmit and receive data about AI . You can still make it work in SP and MP, but I recommend SP as it would be pointless to incorporate in MP.

Ok, so but let's say I didn't have any AI in the dropship for some reason. Would the dropship by itself sync? (Basically what I mean is, do scenery and vehicle custom animations sync)?

animations don't sync. Vehicles preform the same animations since they preform those animations when doing certain things, nad its doing that certain thing on all screens.

Using the script in there, you can transfer the animations location to all clients, you just gotta make the animated item a device (does it matter that much to you if they are in the same place?..)

So scenery animations won't sync, but it will work perfectly fine for the host right?
