Bach says studio or no movieInteresting. Robbie Bach, Microsoft's President of Entertainment and Devices, was recently interviewed by Dean Takahashi - and he suggested that if Microsoft doesn't find an outside backer for the Halo movie, they won't make it at all. (He doesn't think it makes sense for Microsoft to be in the movie business, so if they can't find a studio to produce it, they'll pass on the project altogether.) Thanks to Narcogen, at Rampancy.net, for noticing this. (Louis Wu 20:30:27 UTC) URL: http://nikon.bungie.org/news.html?item=17277

Quote: --- Original message by: Zzzyax a studio doesnt necessaraly mean filmset like including actors bungie studios is a load of computers and stuff with a massive recording studio Have you done any research at all on the offical Halo movie project? Halo is owned by Microsoft - thru Bungie - and they are the ones who decide what and how the movie will be made. Just do a search at HBO ( http://halo.bungie.org) using the term "Halo Movie" and then read the articles and all your speculation will be put to rest.

This news has been around for at least a few weeks, if not a month or two. Peter Jackson said that he is going to continue to work on it at WETA, and hopefully they will find a studio or funding somewhere else. Last time I heard about it they were talking to Paramount. Here's the link to the aforementioned Bungie.net article: http://www.bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx?link=filmatelevenThere's still hope- just be patient.
