Re-tagged and completed halo 3 brute chopper - minus a hud/reticle I tried hundreds of hud variations - could not get the hud to work to show the reticle. This is a re-tagged version of Advancebo's chopper, and slight model edit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtJw5NygbTM

Very cool! A lot nicer than what was recently released. You should definitely release, although I'm not sure why the HUD wouldn't work. It may have something to do with the anims (I've heard anims interfere with HUDs sometimes), but have you tried using a stock vehicle HUD just to make sure it's not a tagging error? Can you not also animate a turning animation for the Chopper's front?

I will check on the anims/hud thing - but - I was able to put my hud on the ghost, banshee and turret, any hud put on this will not show up. The model does have a blur permu - maybe that is causing it?
The front twist animation is there for the fork, it's just slow so it's not as visible a rotation as it could be.

Right I know what's wrong go to cross hairwheree your bitmap is and there should be around there all the properties of the crosshair like what colour it changes to when an enemy's there.there should be a thing called sequence index.there should be a number in there so change that to your bitmaps sequence Wich in this case is 0.this is because it use to use a combined bitmap Wich has heaps of bit tags compiled together so the correct crosshair in the bitmap is number e.g 14 so tge sequence index is 14.the first bitmap is always 0.

Well, the crosshair is in the weapon HUD, in the weapon tag for the vehicle gun.

I got the vehicle, its firing animation, steering, blur AND the hud all to work. I changed the engine and the firing noise, will upload a video tomorrow. I also made it faster, but also reduced the screen/steering from 90 to 45 degrees left and right to make the thing more manageable but also highly maneuverable. Here's a pic for now of the Hud/reticle

Download the halo 3 reticule bitmap tag pack on this site and use the brute chopper bitmap instead of that scorpions one
