This may be a stupid question, byut I couldn't see the FAQ enough to read it I need someone to tell me because if I do my job just got a little harder.

to install HEK you need the haloce game,because HEK looks for a part of the haloce game registry to make sure it's genuine before it will install to the same folder.
you can however use a preinstalled HEK which will just be a matter of copy and paste or extracted to a selected folder. HEK on it's own without the game will be of any use?i don't know. |

As long as it has bitmaps.map, sounds.map, loc.map, and ui.map it should work.

Okay because I know how to install HEK without using Halo CE i was just wandering if you had to have Halo CE for it to work.
