Well a little about this map - I thought it would be fun to post this here, some of you may have already seen it due to the link I gave in the Red Skull thread. This was the first SP I ever made, besides "Ground War" http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=5093 (which, I just noticed, is somehow #13 on the all-time highest-rated maps :L I have no idea why). The story behind the whole "Hollywood Knight" and "Red Skull" team names is actually based on Crimson Skies, an old game for XBOX with blimps and planes. Those were two factions in the game, and my brother and I each chose one to play imaginary fighting like you do when you're a kid. Anyways, this little campaign is based on his team, and it's a free-roam type thing with a few missions, played through the MP menu on a Team Slayer variant with no time limit. You fight insurrectionists as the main enemy, and back then I attempted to give it a small free-roam feel by adding respawning AI that wander different areas of the map. Anyways, download this and tell me if it's cute ;D

The story:

The Hollywood Knights are a group of mercenaries making up the second-largest private military group in the world (largest group is the Red Skulls, not in the story yet). You are one of their newest Cyberdyne super-soldiers, a project created as an answer to the Red Skulls' spartan super-soldiers, and they are breaking you in by sending you to scout a possible base location. After being dropped from orbit, you eject from the pod at an altitude of 50 feet, and land at a structure in the side of a cliff. A failed landing, but it's your first so no big deal. You are technically dead for several seconds, but your suit's advanced systems revive you. While you are still only semi-conscious, you are greeted cheerfully by your commander who sends you messages on your HUD. Follow his instructions and you just might pass your super-soldier exam!

Known issues:
1. Do not activate more than one mission at a time or you will be in very deep (and confusing) doo-doo.
2. The two friendly reinforcements will not do anything for you until you have a vehicle for them to ride in. I don't know why they won't listen to me telling them to follow you, but I hope to have it resolved in the next release.
3. Dropships will sometimes appear as if their driver is mentally unstable. The reason for this is simple - the driver is mentally unstable. This is Halo 1 AI, after all. Don't worry about them, they always do their job correctly in the end.

It's set to MP, so play it on team slayer on a LAN game by yourself.

Yay, here comes another guy who doesn't give a damn about AI sync. Hopefully, there will be more people like you and we will finally get another fully-functional multiplayer firefight!(no offence sock but Blastback firefight has lost it's magic after an hour of playing)

Eh, if you really want to play it with someone else you can, but it was made with one person playing in mind. I just used MP because, back when I made this, my SP tags were corrupt.

Nope, it's to be played in a LAN game by yourself, on Team Slayer :L Not sure why it wouldn't be working... does it exception? Or just start up with nothing happening? If the latter, it could be a problem that a lot of people have where you can't see server messages. Can't remember the solution but I know someone posted it somewhere on here >.>

done in under ten minutes... the ai was slow to respond; the only real threat was the gunner ai. I did notice a small hangup with the gunship (it just kept circling after its mission was complete). And for future reference; the left side mission where you are sent "help" is completely useless if you start with the right side missions.

Well, all of my firefight maps are planned to be MP. And I plan for quality much much higher than blastback. No offense to the maker, the map was actually not that bad. I want to do a whole ton of firefight maps, I'm a total firefight junky so... yeah.

Well, all of my firefight maps are planned to be MP. And I plan for quality much much higher than blastback. No offense to the maker, the map was actually not that bad. I want to do a whole ton of firefight maps, I'm a total firefight junky so... yeah.

Wait, why would I need help, I could do it alone. I'm pretty cool after all. At the moment I'm kind of bottled up with the school year coming to a close. Summer will be modding paradise, nothing but time... and Precalculus (No, I didn't flunk any classes)

You need to be on blue team (HK are blue because my bro's favorite color was blue). There is a script that changes your team automatically (and it always works when I try it) but a lot of people have been telling me it doesn't work for them, so just make sure you're on blue team.
