maybe its like a invisible shader that you can activate using the flashlight button.
(like the boost on the ghost)

So what exactly are you trying to do? just make them look like they have a giant shield? Do you actually want this shield to change anything, or just look larger? you can use function blocks making one go from 0.2 to 1, apply that for the scaling in the plasma shader so its original size is there defaultly when taking damage and when flashlight is on it changes to the full size, etc. You have to explain more what it is your looking for.

open the your cyborg, open the modifier shader, go to where it says offset, set the range to larger. This does nothing but make your biped look stupid with an oversized shield that does nothing what so ever, but what ever. this is what the picture is doing.

Just to Clarify what this guy is saying, for all of you who dont understand (even you kirby):

He wants that biped to have that rediculously oversized sheild effect ONLY whilst a specific button (in his case, flashlight) is being pressed. Along with that, he wants an oversheild to take over the regular sheilds only for the duration that the button is pressed. So when the player lets go of flashlight, sheilds go back to normal. I'm guessing this is for something very similar to an armor lock or something?

you do realize I asked him exactly what he wanted his out come as while giving examples of what could be done, and he instead responded he simply wanted what was in the images (a oversized shield) I asummed the same as you originally till his response was simply the same as a image.
