ok so i downloaded this

but i would like to "convert" it into a halo map and it actually work with everything including textures

i am new(as in i just got) to 3DS MAX 2011

your gonna have to completely remodel it as its far to high a poly count, and has collision errors everywhere. Who ever made it doesn't know the meaning of the word optimize. More so, the plants are max's drag and drop plants. (those white things you see on the house on the left? check their poly count..... something that could of been done with a texture and transparency... *cringe*)

The textures are such low quality, and your gonna have to force alot of them into powers of two as they aren't already.

Map models? Pretty sure there are ripped models from the game but you'll need to give them skies which is pretty easy.
