Ok so when i try and open up Sapien i get this error
Volume1\WINDOWS\system32\msi.dll Cannot allocate required memory. Some other application has loaded where Halo needs to be located.
anybody know how to fix this??? Also does anyone know why in HMT i am getting an exception error every time i try and mod a vehicle?? and i know it doesn't work in CE.
Help would be very much appreciated!!
thanks

i remember having this problem a while back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIMTBCOsE_othat video explains about certain windows updates that do this with halo. so if you did let a windows update install, you need to find that update and remove it. control panel/add remove programs/and make sure a tick is in the (show updates box). then look at the dates of the windows updates, that way you will find what one or more were last installed and remove.

When ever guerilla whines to me about dll files, I just re-name that dll or move it from its original location. Figure out what that one does to see if you can move it with all your programs and such still working, and see if sapien loads fine then. Quote: --- Original message by: greenstar08 Cannot allocate required memory. Some other application has loaded where Halo needs to be located. Only time ive ever seen this error is running HCE in linux, and I just keep opening it until actually opens lol (like 3rd time) im sure theres a proper fix, but its easier for me to double click the icon 3 times lol. idk how well that will work in windows compared to linux, but its atleast a start.

it was on windows xp that i had the problem and re-trying the icon didn't work, removing the last windows update fixed it. compare the update in the video to the updates you have installed and remove the 1 shown in the video.go by the update's code which is clearly shown. for example...KB90blah blah Edited by ally on May 12, 2011 at 12:48 PM
