I downloaded the CMT elite v2 model animations from this site. When I try to equip them with a carbine they just have a plasma rifle. Help?

with this trouble the main solution that i considered is use the mp elite cmt animations and for the elite use the carbine with 2 hands change the the "label" in $$$ weapons $$$ as AR or sg(if you want the brute use it as two handed too)
in this post i had a map with the elite animations extract them from there

You need to name the Carbine according to what its weapon label is in the .model_animations tag. The Carbine should have the weapon label "sg" or "ar." I assume you know how to do that in the .weapon tag though.

And make sure you use these:

Ok I downloaded the map and set my elite_v2 model animations to the ones you used in the map. When I try to add them in Sapien it crashes. Were they corrupted when I extracted them?

well which ones you used exactly the ones on this adress cmt\characters\elite_v2\player\elite_v2 or the ones which said cmt\characters\elite_v2\player\elite_v2_player ,this one gives me an exception so i would say you to use the first one,if it still doesnt work you should download the cmt elite_mp icefield

Use these if you didn't; for some reason, the HEK+ rips them wrong and causes an exception. Just place these in your tag folder and it should work.
