Program used that this file applies to: ( Tool++)
Here is something that I discovered today while working on one of my Halo Ce maps using "Tool++".
Do you hate seeing this annoying message when making your maps using Tool++?
------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'"???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, here's a way to suppress that message and keep it from popping up anymore.
and.. it's only "0" bytes big.
----------------- Directions: -----------------
Just put the file named "toolbeta.map" (it's included with this zip) into the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition
compile and there will be no more annoying warning. That's it. you're done. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Or you can try method #2: Using the regular tool.exe with cmd, like you're supposed to.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool build-cache-file levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch
And yeah, I typed that all out. Try it sometime.

And yeah, I typed that all out. Try it sometime. Still shows the message. Tool++ uses the original tool to do its work, it just takes its input from the GUI. @OP: First, that "error" means nothing and affects nothing. Second... I don't see why this is a topic.
