Is it possible to make that green triangle from multiplayer appear over an AI? The little green triangle in this picture, but over an AI instead of a player??

I think that if you make it a particle effect that's attached to the biped you can. Make it constantly face the player, and be constantly active. The only problem I see with this is that if you disable particle effects, you will not be able to see it, and it will also change size as the biped gets farther away.

Wouldn't be visible through walls or other obstacles, either :L

Toss a custom turret attached to your own head, have an AI in it. Have it set up so all you see of it is a arrow only, and that the arrow is where the turret driver is/looking, then use a script which makes the AI in the turret look at that one AI, then no matter where they are in comparison to you, it will be floating towards them.
