This is really starting to irritate me.

I have no idea why, and after playing about for an hour I am close to giving up - for some unknown reason I am unable to increase the firing rate of the Warthog's minigun past 15. It's not especially important, but now that I have found out that it won't do it, I am wondering why. I managed to do it before, but since a re-install, it isn't possible. It won't do it in vanilla Halo with HMT either.

Has anyone ever had this before or know why it's doing this?

Exactly how high are you trying to set the rate of fire?

20 rounds per sec, rather than 15. I know that the pelican in Hugeass does something similar so it's not completely out of the question. I have found that I can reduce it below 15 fine, but not above that - something seems to limit it.

Just after checking, it would also appear that it is not just the Warthog; I can't change the firing rates for any of the vehicles to above 15. Tried the Ghost at 18 - sits at 15 instead. Blah.

Sorta solved it - it just doesn't seem to like that rate of fire change, or I am just not noticing a difference. It seems happy changing up to 50 rounds per second but thats just silly in terms of performance...

Yeah, after 10 rounds per second it increases at larger intervals; 15 rounds, 25 rounds, etc. I'm not sure of the exact pattern. If you set it to say, 13 rounds per second, it will still fire at 10 rounds per second.

Even if it's 14.9 rounds per second, it will still fire at 10 rounds.
