well people asked me for it so obviously they want it. so i gave it. it's here. and people will be using it i'm sure. and i don't see why this is a bad idea for SP. can someone point that out to me please?

~GE never said was stupid, only that method in doing so buggy and laggy over MP.

Echo, other ways, other ways. We trolololololol people want proper jetpack not bomb under our feet.

FOR THE LAST FREAKING TIME, if you do the updates there is no damage\explosion\anything else you could come up with, it will just push you, and it wont LAG IN SP!, GOSH!, come on. i made this so it could be used, it is good for SP and if there was a way of removing the lag it would work for MP. no explosion. you can still zoom when using it. your shields CAN recharge in midair. no blood trail when you use it with no shields. the damage indicator i have fixed and will give to you later.once you actually care enough to make the jetpack itself, all problems fixed but you still seem to hate it? WHY!!!!

anyways works Perfectly fine for me, no lag, no reduced frame rate,
plus its Great for scripted events like going up into a covenant battle cruiser via the grav lift.
this effect, for me, (well i wish it was released earlier), is a great add-on to any biped, except infection forms (o.o), if i can be energetic enough, i will include it in my SP map i am building (the name of witch i will not relece yet),

and yes, credit will be given to Grunt Eater for His Version of the Jetpack.

back on topic please, ok so the jetpack still has some bugs for some of you?. i have no idea why. it works fine for me. please go to the first post for the update. and if you want i'll post a DL link so those of you who still can't figure out what i'm saying can still have the fixed version , vote if you want the Dl link

Lol i have already got a script (made by Kirby442) that does just that. And i no longer need a person to make it for me. I have found out how to do it myself. If you want to make your own go right ahead. But i think i'll use mine. I don't think it's that bad. DL link up soon

Nope, not unless the script makes you respawn with an entirely new biped with a different effect.

Wait. What? I have the jetpack set up as a replacement for the flashlight. It does have a battery. And i have a script that takes control of the battery and makes it last for a much shorter amount of time, 15 seconds. So it is more like in reach where you can only using it for a short amount of time

Oh. So the flashlight can turn off the dammage effect that jetpacks you in the air and will cancel when the batteries dies. My bad, havent had access HCE for a long time to checck for myself. But ok then keep up the good work. Any progress on the biped jetpack model, has it been implemented?

yes. The jetpack effect will turn off when the flashlights battery dies. And yes i have made a character that has a jetpack and is ingame. See http://img26.imageshack.us/i/myspartan2.png/ And on the cyborg biped, that i used the marker\node list from, their are two markers, flashlight and antenna, that were unoccupied an i put them on the parts of the newly modeled jetpack that the smoke is supposed to come from. So now we have smoke\fire coming from the jets of the jetpack

Sorry to bump this ancient thread to life but I need help getting this thing to work. I've done exactly as you've said grunt but the effect doesn't work for me.

If someone could send the tags to me that'd be great.
