I know there is box to check that says something like "AI drop weapons when beserking." In Halo 2, there are those spec op elites that when you smack them enought, they berserk, drop their fuel rod gun, and pull out an energy sword.

Could you check that box to make AI drop their weapons when berserking, and give the biped a certain weapon, so when the actor_variant drops his weapon, he will be carrying the default weapon of the biped (in this case a sword)?

The flood's weapons drop when you decapitate it's arm. As for the sword, you can use permutations to fake it.
