Hey, Im a complete noob and i'm trying this halo 3rd person app for custom edition 1.09 called skys the limit, but whenever I try and toggle 3rd person it give a little message saying gathering exception data, and idea how to fix this??

did u place the dll in the correct places

only in the Root Directory was I ment to place the STL.DLL somewhere else??

what halo ce version is it and

Installation
------------
Copy the STL.dll to your Halo CE root directory (with haloce.exe), on your first run you will encounter an error saying it cannot find path.ini and Strings.txt, just run the application and click on the settings button, next click okay and the files will automatically be created for you.

what that means that the all the things go to hce root folder just make shortcut to it

thanks got it working but I got a problem,

you know the numbers when trying to edit third person at the bottom lleft hand side of the screen

eg 0.500000 0.100000 0.065000

I cant edit the first number, but I can't edit the last two, could you tell me how?

I press F8 to edit the first one and the green text with the numbers comes up I move my mouse forwards and back left and right but the only number changing is the first one, could you explain how to change the other two?

try holding down scroll bar on mouse then moving sideways the last two # are for sideways

HELP!
For hours iv been trying to get skys the limit to work but it wont iv tried everything
including the version converter, for hours searching but nothing works i need a professional who knows what they are doing to help me (cause im dumb) btw i have halo custom edition
so someone help me get this awsome mod working. My problem is when i have halo running and just opened Skys the limit v2.0 it keeps saying "unreconized halo has been found would you like to reconize it files" and if i say yes and click back into halo it goes "exception"
and my halo is up to daye so I really need help cause i have 6% idea on what im doing

Firstly thanks very much for the kind words :)

You need to be running version 1.09 of Halo Custom Edition as that is what the app was designed for. So double check you have the STL.dll in the root directory and are running the correct version of the game.
