Well, comin to that point, let me show you one of the final models, I am on hour 5 of working on it, and I have no reference tractors I am going by, well, except my memory of what tractors I drive daily. (Insight: Yes, for those of you who know who Farmall is, this is a parody name). Last Night This Morning Today Frames, components, and items are all custom, I have about another week of work to do on it

If you drive tractors take a picture, draw them if you have too, hell look what I got from Google! http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q=tractor&bav=on.2,or.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1440&bih=809Bottom line reference is extremely important, and I know not everyone here is planning on making art for a living but still, if your going to make something do it accurate! And I'm not trying to sound like an d-bag but with the internet there is no reason not to have reference anymore. Edited by YakZSmelk on Mar 4, 2011 at 02:19 AM

If you're going to make a tractor using 3D modelling software, then you need a very very good memory if you're not going to use references. Tractors are very complex in shape, as they bend down slightly as you look to the front, and then there's the bumps, and the driver's seating, and the stairs on large tractors, and more... Not many people seem to notice that tractors aren't actually big cubes with wheels.
