Dont think so. Not super non-linear at least. It requires alot of scripting

Linear: Start at Point A and Go to Point B Non-Linear: Start at Point A, go to point B-Z. End at B-Z.

It does make sense, just a bunch of idiots making false speculations as to what I meant, even though they now what the latter was in the first place. In other words, non-linear means a campaign that isn't straight forward, but rather you have a variety of options and in most cases free-roam. For instance, Grand Theft Auto is non linear, as it has a core story but it is not necessary to complete the goals in the order that they appear, rather you are able to explore the environment and do small things unrelated to the mission at hand.
ie: instead of "Destroy the Covenant Fleet" and have to do it upfront to complete the level, the player can do a variety of things before attempting to do so.

Yeah well, good luck with coming up with something decent then. It's going to require good scripting and gameplay and not to mention a real interesting story to keep the player interested.

The second part of a30 (Halo) is an example of a non-linear single player map.
During the second part of a30 (Halo) you have to save 3 marine squads that crashed landed onto Halo from a lifepod. You, as the player, can choose which ever squad to go to first, second, or last. Because of this, 3 seperate ending cutscenes had to be made in case one of those areas were finished last. Recorded animations had to be made for the pelican in each area (3 in total)
What I am trying to say is: Yes, it has been done before (by Bungie, not so certain if anyone else has done it) however it can be difficult if more endings are available (lets say the b through z example, 25 different endings would have to be made because if the player was able to go to any point without it being linear, the player could finish the map at any of those points.)
