Grunt voice acting; story lines; textures...

Well, I accidentally deleted my bitmaps file for the original HALO, not CE. So, I was wondering, are the HALO:CE bitmaps compatible with HALO:PCs? If not, are there any backups? Thank you.

Reinstall Halo :P

...Well, that only works if you still have your CD - although you can get a new one by *uhum* other means...

AFAIK, CE should work with PC, but I haven't tried it. I say go for it, but your best bet to fixing it would be to reinstall it.

how do you accidentally delete the bitmaps file, and then on top of that, manage to accidentally delete it from your recycling bin

Maybe he made a map and called it Bitmaps?

Or maybe he made a map and called it "wake_kill_bitmaps". o.O

But seriously, reinstall the game. You can save your profiles and gametypes, and you could just move your maps to another folder if you've got mods you want to keep.

You can put the disk in and explorer through the disk and IDK what folder it is but in some of the RARs (or whatever they are) you can just extract the map file you need

You probably mean cabinets. I've only explored like three disks because of bugs before, and they had cabinets in them, but not sure if Halo's disk does have cabinets.

I used a graphics mod for bitmaps. I threw away my old bitmaps cause the mod was good, and the mod became corrupted.
But I uninstalled and everythings fine.
Also, the CEs bitmaps do NOT work on PC, I tryed it :)
