Well i'm trying to use fraps to make some vids of city firefight and firefight chronopolis then i'm gonna put them up on youtube and xfire but the problem is that fraps cuts the frame rate down ridiculously. So bad it goes down to 3-4 frames per second then the video comes out really laggy. I've tried fraps on Ce and halo2 and same thing. Is there a way i can increase the framerate?

All you can really do is get a better computer. What are your specs and average framerate without FRAPS? If you have a multi-core it shouldn't make that much of an impact.

oh well i won't be able to use fraps then. Sometimes xfire turns out ok tho. What does the lock screen rate thing in fraps do?
