Is there a limit to the amount of faces and vertexes for halo? Because I'm trying to export a warthog but it's taking like more than 10 minutes already to export.

Ok, nvm, it takes long to export but it does export, EXCEPT IM GETTING AN ERROR! Help please!

First of all I usually don't run into problems until somewhere between 11,000 and 14,000 verts.
Secondly, it sounds like there could be an issue with the skin modifier on your model. I would suggest looking there first.

It's the halo 3 warthog I'm trying to export, I found that it was the rig on the hull geometry that was giving me an error. If i delete the hull and just export the machine gun barrels and tires, it gives no errors.
