It was released with the crappy hud. But the model errors are caused by your computer. Trust me, I've tried all the Ma5k tags before.

Extract the ma5k tags from CMT's tag release 1, those should work properly.

Oh yeah, that error, I remember i got that one a while back, yeah, change the hud_interface to like an assault rifle or something.
