Whenever I try to open a file in guerrilla i get an error message that says "Couldn't read map file './guerillabeta.map'
you need to set your working directory."

How do I fix this?

This can mean two things:

One, the tag your trying to open is not located in Halo Custom Edition's main directory (either in tags or HCE's root folder). Place the tag in either of those directories and try again.

Or, the other, unfortunately, means that the tag is corrupted, and you cannot use it any longer. Hope you have a backup of it...

Every tag you try to open must be inside the tags folder. no where else, otherwise this error saying you need to set your working directory will show up. Also, couldn't read map file guerillabeta.map is not an error.

I cant open any files in tags, I think the "working directory" is supposed it be set as anything in the tags folder but is not. How do I set the working directory? (the error message says please set working directory)

you have to have guerilla in your halo ce directory. The tags themselves have to be in the tags\ directory before you can use it.

thanks, now it works, guerrilla was in a separate subfolder in the halo ce directory. it has to be in same directory as tags directory
