How do I make shaders shiny, I've experimented with reflection maps and lens flares and detail maps, but haven't been able to get a clear idea of how to get it to work. I think it has something to do with cube maps maybe?

yes a cube map will make a shader shiny, the warthog diffuse metal cube map always makes things shiney

Yeah, I was looking at Derelict's structure bsp and at the bottom the cubemap was what made it all shiny, I am going to use shininess soooo much now. thanks
