when ever i open TOOL, it closes in a like second! can someone help me! about help me for a grunt! =(

Tool is an application your run through CMD. Read a mapmaking tutorial. It will show you that you need cmd.exe in your Halo folder, and what to do from there.

Open the command prompt (Usually in accesories) and type this:
cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition Press enter, andyou should have this: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition> Then type tool, press enter, and it will give you a list of commands. To use them, type tool (insert command here) (directory of what you're trying to get at) And from now on, put these in technical. |

It's still easier to copy cmd.exe and just type "tool".
Seriously, go read a tutorial. |

just incase u don't know already, to compile, type:
tool build-cache-file levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch where bloodgulch is the scenario and levels\test\bloodgulch is the location of the scenario |
