The splash screen is built into the game itself. You cannot do anything to it.

You`re wrong.
You can change\edit it trough bungie.bik file with BINK VIDEO editor

that's not the splash screen. Its the "movie" that plays once the game has loaded.
In Halo PC - Its the Microsoft & Bungie clips that are playing. The reason you can skip them, is because the game has already loaded.

Yeah. It should, it did for me, so I don't know why it wouldn't for you.

It won't work. The halo logo is embedded into a dll which I don't know how to open and change. The resource hacker does open the Haloce.exe but it only contains the icon bitmaps.

The splash screen is stored in Strings.dll and can be edited with a program like XN Resource Editor.

It works! I replaced my version changer string dll with a halo reach wallpaper and a halo logo overlayed onto the background. If anyone wants it, you can pm me for a link I guess.
