I was bored during geography class this morning, and drew up some formal plans for an idea I had.

Reclamation (Aerial combat that is no longer extinction sequel)

LAYOUT-

Fleet-
Covenant
Assault Carrier- Main spawn points and vehicles
CCS Battle Cruiser (2)- Flag and sniper points
Extinction-esque Cruiser (2)- Armories and Interior serves as minimap for Oddball, Race, and King
Frigate, corvette, or destroyer- Sniper spots
UNSC
Marathon (possibly scaled up and modified to look like a carrier of some sort)- Spawn points, flag, and armory
Halcyon (2)- Hangar
Frigate (2)- To look pretty
Prowler (4)- Snipers

I understand this map is rather...lacking. If you have any suggestions or comments, please say something. But I understand there are people out there who hate Extinction because people like to shoot each other down from the air in aircraft, so if you have nothing better to say than this map is terrible because it is sheerly aerial combat, keep yout mouth shut.

this is already being done. It's called Trinity Map Pack. (made by the original guy)

Yeah, I talked to him briefly about this. Trinity is more of a prequel to Extinction, this is what happens after.

I'm not. The Covenant assault rifle, aerial artilery, turrets (minus the Mass Driver), and the corvette will be of my own design, and I'm going to upscale the assault carrier and implement hangars, then include it as part of the map instead of scenery so it can have proper collsion geometry. The marathon will also have an interior implemented, and, just for hte hell of it, jets will be taken from launch tubes, like in Coldsnap. If I can get it working, I might throw in a usable prowler either as a flying vehicle or a turret.

I have the assault carrier model, and I upscaled it to full size. It is now ingame. I made an edit of a cruiser with a hangar implemented, and I may use that as the hangar base. Here is some footage:

No. This project sort of came to a standstill. I'm a busy person, and it'll just be a different carbine. I'm also replacing the corvette with this:

That and the Prowler serve as sniper points. I'll pick up on it again sooner or later (Won't be back until Sunday) But I had a decent image of my fleet setup, can't see it though. And you said that you had assault carriers; Did they have interiors?

Sadly, no. Perhaps you could take sections from the "Truth and Reconcilliation" BSP and recycle them into an interior for the Assault Carrier.

The Covenant Assault Rifle should be black and blue instead of purple and green. And fire awesome blue plasma bolts. :D

I tried the A50 BSPs. I did that for my cruiser, so I'll probably just use the carrier as the minimap, and Ender's Flagships as armories.

I'll try retexture, but again, texturing isn't my strong suit.

The marathon will be upscaled and have a modified interior to act as a carrier.

It would be nice if you at least asked about my vehicle tagset first before assuming you can has and putting it in your list. Other contributing people have asked be about tag protection for the Trinity maps and while I am still deciding (as I am personally against a closed source community), the map may be protected out of desire to respect other authors wishes. Therefore my own personal tagset may be released separately some time after the release of the maps.

Same goes double for my plot line.
Extinction is the end. Hence the name. Everybody dies, the ships rust in peace... The Genocide's fate is sealed with Extinction as it's mission was completed.

Atleast do your homework first on the storyline aspect of things, PM me or message me on xfire for details of the plot. Maybe we can fit your story in a different way.

I dropped the Extinction storyline, and decided to just call it Reclamation.

Sorry, no offense meant. I can probably drop the three vehicles and replace them with something else, I guess.

Also, I DID finish my work. We took a test on Mexico (Which I aced) then I decided to make these.

And if anyone has good textures for the assault carrier, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ive started texturing for a small test build. This will end up being the final build, but for now, it has no interiors. Here are some developmental screenshots:


My Marathon, upscaled to be a carrier. I will do some modeling to it. And for using the wrong textures, I think its pretty good.

Happy now that I've done some revisions? loljk (Not an expression I use often)
Anyways, I decided to make some large turrets to mount on the fron of the Halcyon, like the ones you can see in the end of Pillar of Autumn, and a different one for the CCSs. I haven't started yet, and once I've ended my Halo 3 high (I've been waiting over 4 years for it) I'll get to work on them.
