I'm having a problem seeing flame in Halo CE. I know its there because it does damage but I can't see. For example on the map CMT Tensity in one of the screenshots there is someone with a flamethrower with a ton of flame shooting out, but when I use flames throwers at all in Halo CE I don't see any flame. Is there a way to fix this?

Might be a graphics setting, and if not it may just be your card/drivers.

I used to have this with my old video card. It is caused by your card being unable to render particles or decals. If you can't see grenade explosions or blood either, it's definitely your card.

I can't see those either but when I play the normal Halo Combat Evolved I can see them, and it depends on the map thats I'm playing to see grenade explosions and blood.

Maybe go to your Halo CE graphics settings and activate all the features, then see if you can see the flames. If you can, tone down the graphics settings you do not want one by one until you can't see the flames, so you know which setting is causing the problem.

Flames should be under "Particles" in your video settings. Make sure they're on. If that doesn't work, you're either running Halo in safemode or it's a problem with your video card.
