I have recently installed 3ds max 8 again. and i tried exporting a model that is a kinda complex vehicle. and upon hitting export.....it takes less then a second to export from 3ds max. Which in turn exports into a file the size of: 2KB. I KNOW this is the incorrect size for this type of file. The 3ds max file size is: 1.75 MB. Now i am not really sure if this matters but i have talked to two of my fellow peers. and they both said this was not normal (as of have shown then pictures). and they both do not have any idea whats is going on with 3ds max 8 and blitzkrieg. Can someone please assist me in explaining to me whats going on and how to fix it?

Thanks

Try using another exporter such as chimp or BlueStreak and see if it gives you the same results. Also try to compile the 2kb file in tool to see if it gives you any errors.

BTW 3ds max files also contain things such as rendering settings and materials, so that might weigh down the file a bit.
