Why? The tutrials here didn't help me. I found this: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=239
Didn't work either. Now what to do? In other games, dedicated servers work fine and I can connect to them, friends can connect, too. Only in Halo it doesn't work. Google didn't help. LoL that is a legal copy. My friend installed the game in the same way, he is able to open servers.

lol, excuse the repetitive asking of "is it legit, did u torrent it, u reuse keys from someone, etc" because we get a lot of ppl who join asking how to get their game to work, when in fact the got it illegally and just looking for a way to play for free. if u have it legit lets see if the almighty dennis can help u, if not, let the wrath of Dennis the over lord rain down on your electronic soul for all eternity, in the way of a a ban-hammer!

Can we get to the root cause of the issue?
The fact is 1 : You say you have a legal copy , but experience dedicated server issues. 2 : Your game 'closes' down. http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=239 This states that it is not recommended to run the server and try to join on the same system. You should instead try using a different computer to join your dedicated server. If your issue is still unresolved or different, try this http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=354 This is supposed to resolve issues related to "game closing down". If could be more specific, we can help you further. Provide additional details please. |
