Hi, I'm new to all of this, so please bear with me. I want to learn how to mod/3D model/ etc. but I wanted to look at other people's work first. I downloaded a campaign map for custom edition, and put it in the map folder. I also downloaded a new UI, because I didn't want to type in anything every time I want to play singleplayer, and I replaced the old UI with the new one in the map folder. So my problem is, when I click campaign, I only am able to select my difficulty, and that's it, there are no maps to select. I have tried with two UIs, getting the same results, so it is probably me. Can somebody help? Thanks.

Actulal campaign maps or normal. If normal ones you have to make a console thing by making a shortcut then properties then at the end of the thing that it goes to e.g. halo custom edition\haloce.exe write -screenshot -console and apply. Then use that to open halo. then push '~' and write map_name .

In "Custom Singleplayer Maps", I downloaded "Campagne2" so it is a campaign map.

Open halo, enable consolde, press ~ and type:
map_name campagne2

It should play it now.

Byt the way, that map is not a good example of really good halo content.

1)So there is no way to play it without using console?

2)How do you enable console?

3)The what work would you recommend?

1. If it is singleplayer, it requires console to play.
2. Download BitterBanana's AllDev from this site, OR make s shortcut for CE and at the end of the target field (in properties), add aconsole and -devmode.

just a few grammatical errors in ur post their mooseguy
in the shortcut properties in the target section write -console
(not aconsole)
