hey people. i thought i would gain a goodish rep here by releasing a map. I cant model yet, im just gonna show you some pics taken in sapien. theyre controlled by control panels. this will have encounters (when i figure out how to do this -_-) its probably been done before i know but i want to make it have AI's

Lol, another noobish multiplayer AI map, at least this one doesn't use bloodgulch.

the little thing called "MP" tells you what you CAN and CAN'T add. what you should be asking is what would make this level fun to play for MP. To answer the real question you meant to have asked, library is really very flat and open. IDK if you would want to add something in there for cover, but I would highly recommend it or else there is no point putting any weapon other than pistol and sniper into the map.

Try to add a easter egg/weapon in one of the pipes/vents/holes in the wall... will we be expecting vehicles? turrets? Also.. I'm wondering... how many levels of the Library going to be accessible?

i was thinking maybe adding the second BSP also. and i will include a ghost (should i use a brute ghost or needler ghost?) a warthog, no scorpion, maybe a special vehicle i make and i may put turrets in some of the pipes, and with your suggestion, maybe an easter egg behind one. what i want to know is how to make the bsp transition without switch_bsp 1. i want to make it so that when i touch the control panel to make the platform go up, it switches bsp. can i do this? how?
ok im revising that. but what i want it for when i click the holo panel that makes the lift go up it will also change the BSP to the second. and if you look at the 2 pics on the top, theyre partially open\up. i fixed that. i also added fire and smoke into these maps. this has my special spartan biped thats has the regular model, and skin, but has a new flashlight, jump reaction/height (not much modding required in this biped) full maneuverability in air ect. Make C4 that works the easter egg, o have seen it done so when you plant it there is a timer from 99 ant it counts down relly fast, great fro campers or even clearing a room/base.

hmm i didnt see that. i saw a crappy one but whatever. anyway, i added a bunch of fire to piss everyone off, and the player biped control has been greatly improved/changed. also i want to add 2 bsps. does anyone know how to make a switch_bsp command linked to the activation of a control panel?

Won't work well for multiplayer, as BSP switches don't sync. Sure, one player may be on BSP 1, but the other will be on BSP 2, and since the first player isn't on BSP 2, he won't see the BSP; just player two floating / falling.

b30 has 2 bsp's, has anyone heard of the bsp scenery? bloodgulch is the only one availible, but i asked for b30. also he makes a good point about that floating crap. also also i have made many b30 mp mods for demo/trial. not very hard. the thing about the library is that most of the second bsp overlaps the first, so this would work fine. can someone tell me what you mean by bsp doesnt sync? my plan is to slave the switch_bsp 1 to the control panel at the bottom, and slave switch_bsp 0 to the top. will this work?
