I am thinking of making a TGBOA V4 but sadly right now I can only do bug fixes and move better placed A.I, I have run out of ideas for additional stuff and there are no new tags that I can use either (Most of the good ones are private) but here are the things I do have planned
I have found out a way to do first person animations for cut scenes but it will require good scripting and animating, I also plan to have the battle outside of Asis somewhere around the lines of Asis crashed on an island
My current to do list: Finish up my remakes of v1 and v2 Complete my alternative SP Campaign (Somehow it had got leaked when I used CMT stuff for it and someone said it was the official CMT Beta maps, but the more updated version has lots of changes and waaaay different weapons) Edited by forrestkeller1 on Sep 22, 2010 at 11:02 PM

it didnt get leaked remember you posted links on the hcer forums when dratt was running it then recondevastator downloaded it and said it was old spv2 betas...
also i want to see the grass b40 with all the fog again >:D since the old link broke :/

As for the TGBOA, the problem i feel is that there really isnt that much you can do with that map, its essentially a giant open plane where the covenant charage at you and the ai on the b00m cannons blow them to pices. Perhaps you could add saraphs and banshees to mix things up a bit? Another thing i noticed for the pevious versions of the great battle was that it had too many unecessary extra weapons, varity is great but that much varity is not necessary.

Actually the great battle of asis was really good.
a bug: On some weapons, it has infinite zoom=exception
What I want: Keep the old stuff. But Bigger battles and faster respawn. I liked it but too less people. Also those cannons give the marines too much of an advantage.
What I really want: Add a battle section inside the Covenant Cruiser too. That'd be awesome.

I thought it was... mediocre. It was akin to those blood gulch AI mods with more halo 3 weapons. More diverse encounters would have been nice, and it would have been nice if it was more of a challenge.
But whichever one had the encounters inside the asis was good.
Battle inside the cruiser would be nice, along with less freaking weapons and the errors being fixed. I wouldn't mind having better vehicles too (hate that one plane thing).

lol keller battle of asis should get a make over :P script banshees to fly around and shoot and marines fly in space ships. and long sword airstrike comes in at the end... oh wait xD
anyways if you need help modeling new pieces for bsp tell me

anyways if you need help modeling new pieces for bsp tell me Well I can try, and I maybe could use a new BSP but what I got now is a snowy foggy environment, I added c_storage units for covenant cover, added alarm lights on the inside and few places broken down and on fire, battles on the side of Asis, added jackals, removed those turrets, and I removed all covenant weapons from the armory and alot more than I can't list
