Ok so I just wanted to test my newly made bsp I quickly putted in 3 bitmaps from the tutorial but in compiling I suddently recieve:
choose a type for the shader 'tutorial terrain\sky':
[types of shaders here I left that out of this post]

This shouldn't happen whit the tutorial bitmaps so what did I do wrong... I feel a bit proby not knowing this. omg this is basic maping.
Anyway choosing 1 gives me:
some shaders where not difined.

Let's get this over whit what is it I forgot? I have the bitmaps in the right directory in a map called bitmaps next to the map models in whitch the .jms is saved, so I didn't forget that.

You need a matching shader in you level\shaders tag folder, for every material in you model. If you don't want to make shaders, just select "shader environment" for all shaders when prompted then recompile.

But these are from both the tutorial and b30. Could it have to do whit not having it in the map levels? The shaders are oviously there...

Ah solved I misnamed one of the materials in 3ds max.
