Why the heck do people on 1.09 not play custom maps? I seriously could join every game this week that I have found that actually has people in it without having downloaded a single map. I mean seriously, no-one plays the new awesome CMT maps or any other of the newer good maps. Does anyone have an explanation to this maybe?

Where else do you get custom edition from though and why would they get it if they didn't know there were custom maps. If you don't go download the maps, there actually is no point in hosting on CE since halo itself is actually more stable. I ALWAYS have less lag in halo rather than halo CE.
My point is, why play here on regular maps when it can be done in regular halo better. The whole point of Custom edition is to play variants, new maps, new weapons/tags. Not to play the original maps.
IMO they should not have been included whatsoever in the CE package except for the HEK so you can rip and make you million BG variants. (Not that I am so happy about that though)

go into filters, and make sure "show user created maps" is on yes

Trust me, I actually did that before I even bothered posting here. I found that I have all the popular maps for the most part anyway and they are still not really played... almost at all.
