I am a noob. I attempted to rip all the tags from Bloodgulch and when I started it got up to a certain tag and it came up with an error:

do not check the box "overwrite existing tags" in the tag extractor settings.
you only need to rip the tags you DO NOT have in your tags folder when you installed the HEK.

Except now, that bitmap is corrupted because HEK+ attempted to override it. You'll need to replace it with a fresh one.

I read somewhere else that updating to the latest version fixes the problem but I can't actually find a website that says the latest version, also when I use the updater it says it can't find any updates. So what's the latest version?

If you are referring to the latest version of halo/ halo ce the newest is v1.09. You can download a patch easy from google. If not, what "latest version" of something are you referring to?

only solution would be to delete your tags folder, uninstall and reinstall HEK, and using HEK+ rip all the tags you need WITHOUT overwriting them (check the tag extractor settings as i have said).

OR, try asking someone else for that corrupted bitmap, and hope that the HEK+ overwriting you did hasn't caused any corruption to your other tags....

I told you updating would fix it, anyways I found out mine wasn't the latest version so I found the latest version and it fixed the problem :)
