I've recently downloaded custom edition for Halo combat evolved, and activated the -console -devmode stuff. When I typed in the ~ sign, and typed in the cheat, it said something something cannot be executed. What does this mean?

P.S. I was in the campaign when doing this. Is this only on multiplayer? or is it just the program?

-console -devmode. AllDev doesn't really have everything.

Did you add the numbers in at the end (1 denoting "on"| 0 denoting "off"). Some of the cheats requires the numbers because they change the traits of the player. For example: cheat_bottomless_clip 1

Yes, I did. But I thought you add the signs in between?

Are you running version 1.00 , 1.07 , 1.08 or 1.09?
Most commands will be entered in like this : Cheat_Deathless_player 1 / Cheat_deathless_player 0 , where 1 turns it on and 0 off. You need to either allow the console to be operated in the target command list or download devmode version for your version of CE. Bitterbannana's dev works on 1.00 to 1.08. You need 3epo's for 1.09.

I'm running v 1.09 and i've sorta figured it out. Turns out you need to download all the single player maps (heh heh). But even still, I've only got one to work. cheat_all_weapons . I thought you add the signs in the numbers? (? ?)
