Is it acceptable to instead of adding a scenery in sapien, incorporate it into a model or should this be avoided? I know that for some things such as how in the campaign I think there are some special trees that are incorporated into the models.I was considering doing this with things that would be repeatedly used in a map and just placing them exactly in 3DS.
Bad idea?

You'll be getting errors, simply put. Chances are people will fall through the map when they get near your trees and such... you have to balance between scenery and BSP. If you want chairs, best use scenery. If you want corridors, rooms and such, use BSP
