Okay, my custom animations aren't working. I made custom animations for a dropship and they compiled (thanks to bo) and then I tried to copy the node checksum from the animations to the dropship (suggested by bo), so I did and debug said that:

08.08.10 22:14:28 the model 'vehicles\c_dropship\c_dropship' and the animation graph 'vehicles\c_dropship\c_dropship' don't match
08.08.10 22:14:28 the object 'vehicles\c_dropship\c_dropship' will not animate

So I'm wondering what the problem is?

So wait, your trying to make a custom animation. So you saved your custom animation as vehicles\c_dropship\c_dropship? Is that right. If so... You probably didn't want to do that if you're trying to do like a dropship flyin. You would want to script the animation. Anyway something doesn't match with the dropship and animations. Did you check the nodes links matched?

No, I saved it in the folder of my level. And I dunno, what is a node link?

if vehicles\c_dropship\c_dropship isn't your animation then just rerip it from a standard Halo 1 campaign map

I have the original animations. I made custom ones for a dropship flying, and they don't work. The dropship just stays in one place.

lol dude. did you add or remove any markers or nodes in the animations that were exactly in the .jms you exported? if your not sure..... check your animations & your model for any changes in missing markers or nodes.

Hmm, the only thing I can think of is the frame. I had to link my frame root to the frame of my level because it wouldn't compile without it.

E: Problem solved, I deleted the frame and it worked in sapien! Yay! Thanks for the help guys.

Okay, now I have another problem, I use the custom animations to get my dropship to an area close to the ground, and then I want the player to get on. But for some reason when the animation finishes the dropship disappears, and I am unable to get my player on in time. I tried making the vehicle hover after the animation but it didnt work.
